Tutamad\u0131ysak sepetimiz dolu gibi davranabilir miyiz?<\/p>\n<p>Bilginin temelinin sa\u011flam olmas\u0131 ve derinli\u011fi asl\u0131nda \u00e7evremizde ileti\u015fim ve etkile\u015fim halinde oldu\u011fumuz t\u00fcm insanlarda arad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z en \u00f6nemli \u00f6zelliklerden biridir. Bilgi ise g\u00f6zlemlerimiz, ya\u015fad\u0131klar\u0131m\u0131z, ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131m\u0131z, deneyimlerimiz ve \u00f6\u011frendiklerimizin sonucu elde etti\u011fimiz ger\u00e7ektir.<\/p>\n<p>Bir bilginin tam olmas\u0131, uzun zaman o bilginin \u00fczerinde \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131 ve farkl\u0131 bilgiler ekleyerek uzmanl\u0131\u011fa d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr\u00fclmesi, ayr\u0131ca sahip olunan bilginin ba\u015fkalar\u0131n\u0131n geli\u015fimi i\u00e7in fayda sa\u011flamas\u0131 \u00f6nemlidir. Asl\u0131nda \u201c\u00f6zg\u00fcven sand\u0131\u011f\u0131\u201d m\u0131z sahip oldu\u011fumuz bilgi alt\u0131nlar\u0131n\u0131n say\u0131s\u0131 artt\u0131k\u00e7a dolar. Yorumlar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n de\u011fer g\u00f6rmesi, fikirlerimizin ba\u015fkalar\u0131na aktar\u0131lmas\u0131, d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncelerimizin dinlenmesi ve eylemlerimizin \u00f6rnek al\u0131nmas\u0131 i\u00e7in bilgimizin tam olmas\u0131 gereklidir. Bir \u015feyi tam bilmek asl\u0131nda her \u015feyi t\u00fcm g\u00f6rmeye giden k\u0131sa yoldur.<\/p>\n<p>Japonya&#8217;da bir \u00e7ocuk 10 ya\u015flar\u0131ndayken bir trafik kazas\u0131 ge\u00e7irmi\u015f ve sol kolunu kaybetmi\u015f. Oysa \u00e7ocu\u011fun b\u00fcy\u00fck bir ideali varm\u0131\u015f. B\u00fcy\u00fcy\u00fcnce iyi bir judo ustas\u0131 olmak istiyormu\u015f. Sol kolunu kaybetmesiyle bu hayali de y\u0131k\u0131lan \u00e7ocu\u011fun babas\u0131, Japonya&#8217;n\u0131n \u00fcnl\u00fc bir Judo ustas\u0131na giderek yard\u0131m istemi\u015f. Usta ertesi g\u00fcnden itibaren tam on y\u0131l boyunca \u00e7ocu\u011fa tek bir hareket \u00f6\u011fretmi\u015f ve her g\u00fcn bu hareketi \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131 istemi\u015f.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c7ocuk zaman zaman hocas\u0131n\u0131n yan\u0131na gitmi\u015f. &#8220;Bu hareketi \u00f6\u011frendim ba\u015fka hareket g\u00f6stermeyecek misiniz&#8221; diye sormu\u015f. Hocan\u0131n cevab\u0131 \u201cSen ayn\u0131 hareketi \u00e7al\u0131\u015f o\u011flum. Zaman\u0131 gelince yeni harekete ge\u00e7eriz\u201d olmu\u015f. 2 y\u0131l, 3 y\u0131l, 5 y\u0131l derken \u00e7ocuk judodaki 10\u2019uncu y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131 doldurmu\u015f. Bir g\u00fcn hocas\u0131 yan\u0131na gelip \u201cHaz\u0131r ol&#8221; demi\u015f &#8220;Seni b\u00fcy\u00fck turnuvaya yazd\u0131rd\u0131m. Yar\u0131n ma\u00e7a \u00e7\u0131kacaks\u0131n.&#8221; Delikanl\u0131 \u015fa\u015f\u0131rm\u0131\u015f. Hem sol kolu yok hem de judoda bildi\u011fi tek hareket var&#8230; \u00dcnl\u00fc judocular\u0131n kat\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 turnuvada hi\u00e7bir \u015fans\u0131n\u0131n olmayaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnm\u00fc\u015f ama hocas\u0131na sayg\u0131s\u0131ndan ses \u00e7\u0131karmam\u0131\u015f. Delikanl\u0131 ilk m\u00fcsabakas\u0131na \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015f.<\/p>\n<p>Rakibine bildi\u011fi tek hareketi yapm\u0131\u015f ve kazanm\u0131\u015f. \u0130kinci, \u00fc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fc ma\u00e7, \u00e7eyrek final, yar\u0131 final derken final ma\u00e7\u0131na \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015f. Bilgi ge\u00e7mi\u015ften g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze gelen, bug\u00fcne de\u011fer katan ve gelece\u011fi \u015fekillendiren bir etki olarak g\u00f6r\u00fclmeli ve sahip olunan her bilgi \u00f6z\u00fcmsenerek, kal\u0131c\u0131 hale getirilmelidir.<\/p>\n<p>Boren \u015f\u00f6yle ifade ediyor bilginin sadelik ve tevazu ile g\u00fc\u00e7 kazand\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131: \u201cYeter derecede e\u011fitime sahip olmal\u0131s\u0131n ki etraf\u0131ndaki insanlar\u0131 l\u00fczumundan fazla b\u00fcy\u00fck g\u00f6rmeyesin; fakat bilge olacak kadar da e\u011fitim g\u00f6rm\u00fc\u015f olmal\u0131s\u0131n ki onlar\u0131 k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck g\u00f6rmeyesin.\u201d<br \/>\nSon zamanlarda \u00fczerinde \u00e7ok ara\u015ft\u0131rma yap\u0131lan bir konu da bilginin g\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fcn ki\u015fiyi ne kadar cesaretlendirdi\u011fi ve tam tersini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fczde bilgisizli\u011fin ki\u015fiye g\u00fc\u00e7 verip vermedi\u011fi ve cehaletin cesarete olan etkisi. Bu alandaki \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131yla psikoloji alan\u0131nda Ig Nobel \u00f6d\u00fcl\u00fc (*) kazanan psikologlar Justin Kruger ve David Dunning bu konu ile ilgili y\u0131llard\u0131r farkl\u0131 ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar yap\u0131yorlar. Ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131n\u0131n sonucu ise olduk\u00e7a ilgin\u00e7; \u201cCehalet bireylerin kendilerine olan g\u00fcvenlerini artt\u0131r\u0131yor.\u201d Hatta yap\u0131lan testler sonucunda bilgisinin derinli\u011fi olmayan, bilgi d\u00fczeyi \u00e7ok d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck olan ki\u015filer yapt\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131n do\u011frulu\u011fundan y\u00fczde 90 emin olduklar\u0131n\u0131 ifade ediyorlar. Di\u011fer yandan bilgi k\u00fct\u00fcphaneleri tam donan\u0131ml\u0131 bilge bayku\u015flar ise t\u00fcm yan\u0131tlar\u0131 do\u011fru oldu\u011fu halde sadece y\u00fczde 60\u2019\u0131n\u0131n do\u011frulu\u011fundan emin olduklar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yl\u00fcyorlar. Ortaya \u00e7\u0131kan durum ise fazla tevazu g\u00f6sterildi\u011finde ger\u00e7ek san\u0131lmas\u0131 ve bayku\u015fun bilgeli\u011fini takdir etmek yerine \u00e7irkinli\u011fini vurgulayanlar\u0131n, kendilerini ormana kral ilan etmeleri\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Oysa tarihe d\u00f6n\u00fcp bakt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131zda bilgiye inananlar, ger\u00e7ek bilginin sahiplerine sayg\u0131 duyanlar her zaman onlar\u0131n derin bilgilerinden yararlanm\u0131\u015f ve bu sayede \u00e7a\u011flar atlanm\u0131\u015f, devrimler yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015f, ak\u0131mlara \u00f6nc\u00fcl\u00fck edilmi\u015f. Floransa\u2019da 13. ve 17. y\u00fczy\u0131llar aras\u0131nda ya\u015fam\u0131\u015f olan ve adeta kentle \u00f6zde\u015fle\u015fen Medici Ailesi, bilgiye ve farkl\u0131 tecr\u00fcbelerin, farkl\u0131 uzmanl\u0131klar\u0131n g\u00fcc\u00fcne olan inan\u00e7lar\u0131 ile R\u00f6nesans\u2019\u0131n ortaya \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. \u00d6yle ki Medici Ailesi\u2019nin zeka ve bilgi ikilisinin ortaya \u00e7\u0131kard\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00fcce olan etkisi, yazarlar ve bilim adamlar\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan da incelenmi\u015f sonu\u00e7 olarak ortaya \u201cMedici Etkisi\u201d denilen kavram \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu kavram ilk kez Frans Johansson isimli yazar taraf\u0131ndan ifade edilmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p>Bilgi al\u0131nd\u0131k\u00e7a b\u00fcy\u00fcr, b\u00fcy\u00fcd\u00fck\u00e7e \u015fa\u015f\u0131rt\u0131r. \u00d6\u011frenmenin sonu olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kitap okuduk\u00e7a daha iyi g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz. Ve g\u00f6rd\u00fcklerimiz kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda hayret i\u00e7erisinde daha fazla \u00f6\u011frenmek i\u00e7in kararl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fcyoruz. \u201cBilgi adas\u0131 ne kadar b\u00fcy\u00fck olursa, hayretin k\u0131y\u0131lar\u0131 da o denli uzun olur\u201d diyor Ralph W. Sockman.<\/p>\n<p>Bilgi ger\u00e7ekten g\u00fc\u00e7. Teknolojinin olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 d\u00f6nemlerde de g\u00fc\u00e7t\u00fc, sava\u015flar s\u0131ras\u0131nda da g\u00fc\u00e7t\u00fc, imparatorluklara da g\u00fc\u00e7 verdi. 10&#8217;uncu y\u00fczy\u0131lda \u0130ran&#8217;\u0131n veziriazam\u0131 olan Abdul Kas\u0131m \u0130smail, bilginin g\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fcn kesinli\u011fine inan\u0131rm\u0131\u015f ve kitaplar\u0131na \u00e7ok d\u00fc\u015fk\u00fcn bir adamm\u0131\u015f.
